There are many aspects to a home purchase or sale. From the contract to the negotiations, the number one reason deals fall through is buyers and sellers can't agree on the repairs. This is where I come in. I have the experience and resources to get through even the toughest of negotiations. Having the knowledge and expertise to effectively estimate and communicate costs and the time of repairs leads to happy clients and safer homes!
Every successful business seems to have one thing in common - they have a great team working with them.
While you will be directly working with me, I have a behind-the-scenes team that makes the process from contract to close as simple and easy as possible.
This includes inspectors that can complete an inspection and report within 3 days of mutual acceptance, an on-call General Contractor and all of the subtractors that come with that, and a phenomenal title and escrow team that handles all of the background work.
I have amazing mortgage lenders that specialize in first time purchases, investment loans, manufactured homes, condos, and more.
Every transaction is different, and curating a team that can tackle any hurdle is my specialty.
Working with home buyers, I put into perspective any roadblocks that come up and explain what becoming a homeowner entails. You can be confident that any repairs or issues will be addressed and explained thoroughly.
As a home seller, you may wonder what repairs may come up during inspection and how much they may cost. I have an on-call Contractor (aka my Husband!) that will estimate and perform most repairs at no up-front cost to you.
My experience in the construction and home flipping industry will work for you-buying, selling or both.
My career in Real Estate didn't exactly follow a straight line. In fact, it's been 16 years in the making. Let me explain -
When I was 18 and had just graduated I worked with my dad, a General Contractor. He was working with developers in Seattle to convert apartment complexes into condominiums. I started out swinging a hammer and learning to use a power tool for the first time. I quickly learned that I have a love for bringing new life to older or distressed buildings.
The units were converted and sold one at a time, which meant we would have prospective buyers come into the building. It was so fun to hear people exclaim how beautiful the home was, and listen to them talk about where they would put the couch, which room they'd get, and what their life would look like in this home.
I fell in love with everything real estate in those moments and decided to look into getting my real estate license. I did the classes, and passed the tests - the last thing I had to do was pass the real estate exam. That was 2008.
Being just out of High School and living on my own, I couldn't justify starting a commission-based job in a struggling economy. So, I got my CNA license, got a job in the field and started school for nursing.
In the meantime I met my husband, who was just starting his own business as a General Contractor after over 15 years in the Carpenter's Union. We worked together to grow the business, and started flipping homes in the Port Orchard and Gig Harbor areas. At the same time, I had finished my degree, but I found my heart wasn't in health care. My love for real estate had been reignited, and I decided to retake the classes again, passed the tests, and passed the exam. That was 2016, and I've never looked back!
Since then, I've been lucky to have helped over a hundred clients and families realize their real estate dreams - every one unique in their own ways. I look forward to the opportunity to help you achieve yours!
